Dr. Wick was born and raised in rural Montana. He knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from childhood. It started when he witnessed the local vet pull an absurd number of porcupine quills from his family dog’s face on the dining room table. Dr. Wick graduated from Washington State University in 2013 and went on to work in a busy ER before returning to WSU for a rotating internship. During that time, he was able to practice and learn cutting edge veterinary medicine under the tutelage of some of the most highly trained specialists in the Northwest.Dr. Wick is thrilled to join Intermountain Pet Hospital and work every day with an amazing team and interact with the wonderful pets of the Treasure Valley (and their people). He has a special interest in emergency medicine, diagnostic imaging, and soft tissue surgery.
