Dr. Mahoney is a board certified, fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Spine, with more than 11 years surgical experience. A new member of the Spine and Pain Center at NAO, he is considered a specialist in minimally invasive back and neck surgery. Utilizing technology and techniques currently considered state-of-the-art in spine surgery, and with an appreciation for innovation, Dr. Mahoney practices approaches to surgical spine interventions, such as minimally invasive fusion using a Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) technique; and Oblique Lateral Interbody Fusion (OLIF) for lateral spine surgery. Dr. Mahoney enhances the quality of spine care available in Flagstaff by performing these less-invasive back and neck surgeries.
