Dr. Emily Conway was raised in the mountain town of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. She graduated from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon with a BA in Biology. She then earned her veterinary degree with honors from the University of Glasgow Scotland in 2010. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Conway completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.After her internship, Dr. Conway spent a year in general practice in New Mexico, before moving east to pursue a three-year comparative veterinary ophthalmology residency at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She also received a Master’s degree while at Purdue, with her research focus being the use of serum and plasma as a topical anti-collagenase agents. She became board certified in 2016 and is a current member of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists.
