Dr. Lewis earned his bachelor’s degree in bioengineering from Texas A&M University. He received his medical training from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. He completed his internship in general surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX. He also took part in a fellowship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX.

He has completed fellowships in hand and microsurgery in Houston as well. Prior coming to Tupelo, he worked at the Naval Hospital in Camp Lejeune, NC. He is board certified and specializes in orthopaedic surgery of the elbow, wrist and hand.

Dr.Lewis and his staff are amazing!

It does take time to be seen, but he takes the same amount of time to address all your problems and answer your questions! He has great bedside manners and compassionate about his work! Dr. Lewis is the best in my opinion!
