Dr. Eric Schlesinger was born and raised in Queens, NY and completed his undergraduate studies at Binghamton University in 2001 with a B.S. in Biology and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. Dr. Schlesinger received his D.D.S. degree from New York University where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Dr. Schlesinger received his M.D. degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2008 and he subsequently completed two years of General Surgery residency at Hahnemann University Hospital.Dr. Schlesinger completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2011. He served as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Chief Resident from 2010-2011 at Hahnemann University Hospital and Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children. He currently serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Drexel University College of Medicine Department of Surgery and is double board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology.
