Dr. Walsh received a BS degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Biotechnology and a MA from Boston University in Massachusetts. After graduating with his DVM degree from North Carolina State University in 2006, he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Minnesota and a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Walsh joined VSCD in August 2012 as a full-time internist, but he is no stranger to the hospital as he worked as an emergency clinician before and during his residency.
