Dr. Frank Borostyankoi is a board certified (American College of Veterinary Surgeons) veterinary surgeon specialist. He was initially trained in Europe before moving to the United States. He was a small animal clinician, researcher and educator for the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hungary.Over the last 20 years he became one of the most recognized orthopedic specialist in Southern California. He specialized in orthopedic surgery from early on with vast experience in joint arthroscopy, joint replacement, fracture repair and spinal surgery. His work is recognized in canine knee repair worldwide through his reputable orthopedic implant supply company by his inventions and patented specialty implants. He is also recognized about working with difficult cases in orthopedic and soft-tissue surgeries that maybe judged beyond repair. He frequently lectures in small animal orthopedics in southern California and in abroad. He is a member of several Veterinary Orthopedic Societies in the US and the EU. He also serves as a veterinary advisor for a globally recognized bone health institute. In spare time activities he enjoys horseback riding, boating and piloting. He is supported by his wonderful wife and his two beautiful children.
