Dr. Harold Machesky grew up in southeast Michigan in the city of Walled Lake. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1984 having earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Dr. Machesky completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1988. In 1990 he received a Master’s Degree for his thesis on Oral Tissue Response to Three Implanted Metals. He became certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1990.
