Dr. Blake grew up in Washington, D.C. She earned her undergraduate degree at Washington University where she majored in Biomedical Engineering. She continued her education at Saint Louis University where she completed her MD with Distinction in Research after engaging in research projects at the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health. She pursued training in Anesthesiology at Saint Louis University and then moved to New York City where she completed an Interventional Pain Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Blake rotated through New York City’s premiere hospitals during her training. These included the Hospital for Special Surgery, which is the #1 ranked orthopedic hospital in the nation, Memorial Sloan Kettering Caner Center, which is the #2 ranked hospital for cancer care in the nation, and Weill-Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital, which is ranked the #1 hospital in New York City and one of only 17 hospitals ranked on the “Honor Roll of America’s Best Hospitals”.
