Jan Hines opened Alpharetta Animal Hospital in 1973 with just himself and one employee. Since then, he has grown his practice to include 8 veterinarians and 25 plus dedicated staff members. He was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine where he served for 12 years.He was appointed to the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates which evaluates a Foreign Veterinarian’s abilities to meet American Veterinary Standards. In his spare time, Dr. Hines and his wife, Hazel love to travel.
