Jeffrey Rasch D.O. moved to Bozeman in August of 2008 to join the Alpine Orthopedics Team after 5 years in Salt Lake City, UT. Originally from St. Louis MO, Dr. Rasch took an unusual path to medicine. After completing high school Dr. Rasch put his studies on hold to pursue his goal of becoming a professional cyclist and competing in the Tour De France. He raced and lived in Europe from 1986-1992. During the 1993 season he accomplished his goal, racing as a professional cyclist.
At the end of the 1993 cycling season he decided to pursue his education and moved to Flagstaff AZ, where he enrolled in pre-medical studies at Northern Arizona University. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, the original osteopathic medical school. He completed a residency in family medicine and a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the University of Utah.
