Jessica Stephens, DVM obtained her undergraduate degree in 1998 at Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science with a Bachelor of Science and Minor in Psychology. From there Dr. Stephens was an animal keeper at Lion Country Safari where she provided care for reptiles, primates, and livestock. She received her veterinary degree at Purdue University in 2004 and also did several exotic zoo externships for San Francisco and Indianapolis Zoo. Dr. Stephens completed a general medicine and surgery internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls from 2007-2008. Additionally, she completed a Surgical Internship in 2009 at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Florida and in her spare time worked at various south Florida 24 hours emergency hospitals and perfected her urgent trauma and critical case triage and treatment skills. Dr. Stephens is an outstanding general practitioner who is well prepared for any emergency that comes through our doors. When not working she is a proud mother of a beautiful son.
