Dr. Abramowitz is a board certified medical oncologist and hematologist with more than thirty years of experience. He treats all types of cancer and both malignant and benign blood disorders. Dr. Abramowitz is both a patient advocate and educator.Dr. Abramowitz is married to Rita Bergers who retired from the pharmaceutical industry in 2009. Together they are raising Dr. Abramowitz’s grandson, Sebastian. Dr. Abramowitz has been a vegan since 2012 and enjoys trying to live a healthy lifestyle, being with family and traveling. He strives to learn at least one new thing every day.

    I WAS REALLY SURPRISE OF THE EXPERIENCE DR. ABRAMWITZ. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH LUNG CANCER. HE ORDERED TEST AND GOT ME A SURGEON SO WE COULD REMOVE THE TUMOR. ITS DIFFICULT TO GET AN APPOINTMENT BUT ONCE YOU GET ON IT ANOTHER 3 WEEK BEFORE YOU GET IN. BUT IN ALL ITS THE BEST

    Dr. Abramowitz is a very caring physician. We are still fighting cancer with him, but I feel like he is doing everything he can to help us. His staff is very friendly too.

    Dr. A. as I call him, has been my doctor for seven years. There was someone that reviewed him as money hungry and test happy physician... Excuse me? I can emphatically say that Dr. Abramowitz is in NO WAY guilty of this. He is very conservative with tests and scans. He is very compassionate and in times where he had to determine a direction for me, he ALWAYS proved right.
