Dr. John Franco is a sports medicine physician at New Mexico Orthopaedics. His focus is in knee, shoulder, hip and ankle arthroscopies, repair of articular cartilage injuries and minimally invasive surgery methods.  He believes that orthopaedics has offered him the perfect opportunity to combine his backgrounds in mechanical engineering and kinesiology with his desire to interact with and help others on a daily basis.

Dr. Franco enjoys helping patients accept and understand their injuries, working with them through the recovery process.  He utilizes non-operative approaches to recovery whenever possible to meet patient goals in a timely manner.
