Dr. Krebs has practiced at The Center for Orthopedics since 1994. He specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, total joint replacement and sports medicine. He completed his hand fellowship at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. This advanced training enables him to treat even the most severe hand injuries. “I deal with a variety of different hand problems – from carpal tunnel syndrome to tendon transfers and replacement of the finger and wrist joints,” he explains.Dr. Krebs is one of the only surgeons in northeast Ohio certified to perform MAKOplasty®, a less invasive partial knee resurfacing that uses a robotic arm. He states, “MAKOplasty is a less invasive procedure than traditional partial knee replacement, and allows for patients to return to their active lifestyles more quickly.” He also performs the Zimmer® Patient Specific Instruments knee replacement procedure, which results in excellent long-term recovery.
