Board-Certified Neurosurgeon, John R Caruso MD, FACS, with over 20 years of experience serving the Western Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia tri-state region, has opened a new Neurosurgical practice specializing in all aspects of spinal surgery, including minimally invasive procedures to complex instrumentation of the cranial, thoracic, and lumbar spine. We also perform peripheral nerve surgery and intracranial surgery, including trauma, tumors, arterio-venous malformations, and microneurosurgery.

Our goal is to provide patients with a conservative, compassionate, and well informed approach to their spine, brain and peripheral nerve conditions, and return them to a more active lifestyle.
