Julio Petilon, MD, graduated from Amherst College as an All-American Scholar with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and received the Five College Latin American History Certificate at Amherst, MA. He received a Doctorate of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He followed with an internship at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA. Subsequently he served as a Flight Surgeon, for VFA-106, a training squadron for F-18 pilots in Oceana, VA, where he was a primary physician for the entire squadron and supporting teams as well as logging hundreds of flight hours himself.

Dr. Petilon’s practice focuses on the treatment of adult patients with both simple and complex spine problems, including herniated discs, degenerative disease of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, deformity, revision surgery and disease of the sacroiliac joint.
