Dr. McGuire earned her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed her clinical training at North Carolina State University. This was then followed by a rotating internship in medicine, surgery and emergency work at Flannery Animal Hospital in New Windsor, New York.

Dr. McGuire spends her free time with her fur-kids, Raisin and Kitten (and her not-so-fur-kid Jalapeno, the bearded dragon). She enjoys hiking, skiing, horseback riding and working on her artwork.
