  • Total Hip Replacement - non invasive
I had a total hip replacement on March 29, 2021. Dr. Remia was my surgeon. I was walking with the help of a walker the very next day!! He performed the non-invasive technique, no muscles were cut, only pushed aside. This technique resulted in less pain and a faster recovery than the standard surgery. I am so grateful to Dr. Remia and his awesome team!! I will contact him when my knees need attention. Thanks so much, doctor!!!
  • Once this knee gets back to 100 % I plan on having Dr. Remia fix the other one.
Had a partial knee replacement on 9/23. Medial meniscus was totally bone on bone. Was able to put full weight on the knee and walk with assistance of a walker that night. Was discharge the next day and was able to walk unassisted by the end of the next day. Used a crutch for balance the next day since then have been walking without any aids including going up and down stairs. The knee seems to be responding nicely with good smooth flex and the arthritis pain is gone. Dr. Remia is truly a gifted surgeon.
