Dr. Smith is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the North Carolina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Smith has been Chief of Surgery and Chief of the Medical Staff at Onslow Memorial Hospital. He has hospital privileges at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City. His practice includes removal of wisdom teeth, implants, treatment of facial fractures, management of dental infections, preparation of the mouth for dentures and oral pathology diagnosis and treatment.
