A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Cofone has been in private specialty practice for 20 years and is one of the original partners/owners since VSCD opened 15 years ago. Beginning today, January 1, 2016, Dr. Cofone resumes responsibilities as managing partner of VSCD, which is co-owned by Dr. Jeffrey Bowersox, Dr. Cofone, and Dr. Art Jankowski.In 1985, Dr. Cofone obtained his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet), then completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery, and a three-year surgical residency at University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
