Dr. McCloskey, hospital director, has worked at Beechwold Veterinary Hospital since his high school years as a volunteer. He returned to Beechwold in 1990 as a doctor and is now a member of the Board of Directors and Co-Director of the Canine Semen Bank of Columbus. He lives in Powell with his wife of 20 years, two sons, and three dogs.  He is a cycling enthusiast, and has participated in Pelotonia, The Triple Bypass, and The Leadville 100. Dr. McCloskey volunteers for Canine Companions for Independence,  serves on the Small Animal Practitioner Advisory Board for The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center, and is also on the Patient Advisory Board for the Neuro/Rehabilitation unit at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
