Practicing dermatology since 1997, Dr. Matthew Thompson was originally focused on becoming an orthopedic surgeon, but while teaching himself about the dermatology side of practicing medicine, he realized his calling to the profession. “I spent a lot of time reading about dermatologic conditions and seeing the ‘skin’ patients in a large general practice setting. I knew that I found a specialty that was just perfect for me…and now I am just that, a Board Certified Dermatologist.”
