Through his years of experience, Dr. Cosby has served as a board member for Mercy Medical Center, the Colorado Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and as an associate professor at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry for over 20 years.

Dr. Cosby is a board-certified oral surgeon and medical doctor, dedicated to his craft and his patients. He has held office and continues to be a member of the Colorado Dental Association, American Dental Association, Colorado Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Cosby attended the University of Redlands for three years where he studied pre-medicine upon being accepted to Northwestern University, School of Dentistry, Chicago, Illinois. There, he received his dental degree and was chosen top of his class to continue training in his specialty, oral maxillofacial surgery.
