Dr. Michael Flax is a board-certified OB/GYN with over thirty-five years of experience. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado and his Doctor of Medicine from Dalhousie University of Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada. In addition to his many years in private practice, Dr. Flax was a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of New Mexico, Vice President of the Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, board-certified Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and past Chair of the New Mexico Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Concerned with all aspects of women’s health, Dr. Flax’s main interests are laparoscopy, infertility, menopause, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Flax is currently seeing GYN patients at The Doc Spa in Albuquerque, NM.
