Dr. Lawley specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy and total joint arthroplasty. He received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1979 and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Garden City Hospital in Michigan.Fellowship-trained, Dr. Lawley is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Ohio University and has privileges in the TriHealth, West Chester and Mercy hospital systems. Dr. Lawley has completed Mini-Fellowships in sports medicine, total-joint arthroplasty of the hip & knee, hand surgery and pediatric orthopaedics.Dr. Lawley is from a family of physicians beginning with his father. He also has two brothers and a brother-in-law that are physicians, a sister that is a Registered Nurse and two nephews in medical school.
