r. Lu, a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO, and
completed his residency at Rutgers University – New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Lu completed a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Mid-Atlantic Shoulder and Elbow Society. Dr. Lu has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and multimedia presentations. He has been awarded numerous honors for his ongoing clinical research, which he has also presented at both national and international orthopaedic conferences. In addition to general orthopaedics, he specializes in all aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery, including fracture care, joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery. He is currently a clinical assistant professor of orthopaedics at Rutgers University – New Jersey Medical School.
