Michael W. Broadbent was raised in Pleasant View, Utah. He attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Louisville, Kentucky in 2003. He then pursued a 4 year residency earning him a Certificate and Masters of Science in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa in 2007. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and as a Board Certified Oral Surgeon became a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2009.
