Dr. Michelle Hewitt is a 1997 graduate of the North Carolina College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, which she attended after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from The College of St. Elizabeth in 1993. Upon completing her veterinary degree, Dr. Hewitt returned to New Jersey and joined Tranquility Veterinary Clinic. She is a member of the AVMA, NJVMA, and NWNJVMA. Dr. Hewitt has special interest in renal disease, endocrine disease, dermatology, and geriatrics. She enjoys working with the competent and caring staff at Tranquility, as well as working as a team with her colleagues. Most of all, she enjoys helping to provide a good quality of life for pets and their families.Dr. Hewitt is the proud owner of two rescued cats and a rescued dog.
