Dr. Flowers is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in Joint Preservation surgery, Complex Reconstruction and Deformity Correction, and Joint Replacement surgery. Dr. Flowers is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.Dr. Flowers received his Bachelor of Health Science from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He also holds a Masters of Physical Therapy and Doctorate of Medicine from Howard University. He did his residency in orthopedic surgery at the New York Medical College located in Manhattan. He is fellowship trained in Limb Lengthening and Complex Reconstruction at the Hospital for Special Surgery also in Manhattan, NY.
