Dr. Renaldo is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the surgical management of adult spine conditions. Dr. Renaldo completed a combined orthopedic/neurosurgical fellowship in spinal surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Renaldo was awarded his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.
Dr. Renaldo is an active participant in several medical societies, including the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), and has published research in leading journals and textbooks.
Dr. Renaldo has expertise in the non-operative and operative management of adult spine conditions, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, myelopathy, trauma, instability, and scoliosis. He regularly performs minimally invasive nerve decompression procedures and spinal fusions utilizing microscopes and tubular retractors. Dr. Renaldo also performs surgeries using less than 1 inch incision.
