Dr. Patel is a specialist in reconstructive spine surgery. He received his M.D. from Northwestern University in Chicago and then went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

During this time he developed an interest in spine injuries and surgical treatment techniques.
