Dr. Monzon founded Pain Management Specialists of North FL, PA in 1998. He received his medical degree from UCE, School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic with honors. He completed a four-year residency in General Surgery as Chief Resident at Jersey City Medical Center in NJ, and an Anesthesiology residency at the distinguished Seton Hall/St Joseph Hospital in NJ where he also served as a Chief Resident with a concentration in Thoracic Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.

He moved to Palatka in 1990 and co-founded the first pain clinic in Putnam County at Putnam Community Hospital where he served as the Chief of Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
