Dr. Richard Poupard earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. While there, he received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award and the Compendium Award for Dental Research. Dr. Poupard completed his four-year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital, and he is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Poupard’s special interests include orthognathic surgery as well as implants to replace missing teeth or stabilize dentures and re-constructive surgery. Dr. Poupard is an accredited member of the surgical staff at MidMichigan Regional Medical Center.
