Dr. Sharma specializes in non-surgical orthopedics and sports medicine with a special interest in tendon management. He graduated medical school from Meerut University/Santosh Medical College in India and went on to do a clinical research fellowship at Northwestern University.

He completed a family and community medicine residency at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where he was able to gain valuable sports medicine experience by working with the Southern Illinois Minors, the SIU Salukis, John A. Logan Community College, and various high schools in southern Illinois. Dr. Sharma also completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship in Columbus, OH, where he treated athletes from the Columbus Blue Jackets, Ohio University, Denison University, the AVP tour, WWE, and various high schools.
