Dr. Shuman is board certified by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine and a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physician’s. He has more than 40 years of medical and nutrition experience. Dr. Shuman is also a Board Certified Anesthesiologist (retired), an FAA Certified Aviation Medical Examiner and is one of the few physicians in Georgia skilled in Prolotherapy.

Also as a memberof the American Cosmetic Cellular Medicine Association, Dr. Shuman collaborates with scientists, physicians and health care professionals to discover and become expert at the best uses of cell biology to improve health and beauty. He has a passion for sharing the message of good nutrition, healthy lifestyle and the role they play in not only losing weight, but also in preventing disease and living a longer and healthier life.
