Dr. Light graduated from the Long Island Jewish Medical Center Orthopaedic Residency in 1985. He received fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery at The Hospital for Joint Diseases – Orthopaedic Institute, New York, in 1986. Dr. Light became certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1988, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1990. He is an active member of several state and county medical societies, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Light’s particular interests include complex fracture repair and reconstruction, total knee and hip arthroplasty, hip resurfacing arthroplasty, as well as pediatric and adult orthopaedic surgery.
