Dr. Patel is a Lecanto High School graduate, raised in Citrus County.  He completed both his undergraduate and Dental degrees at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  After a residency at Columbia University, Dr. Patel returned to Florida where he earned a PhD from the University of Florida.  He continued at UF and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training where he was Chief Resident in 2013.  He joined Dr. Brockett at Citrus OFS in 2014.
