Stephen A. Rath, MD is a highly esteemed physician and Board Certified Anesthesiologist who specializes in the practice of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Rath has remained dedicated to the pursuit of educational excellence throughout the course of his career, beginning with an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He then went on to receive his Medical Degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, during which time he served as a Research Assistant for the Department of Anesthesiology and as a Paramedic for the Galveston EMS.

Fervently committed to serving his country, Dr. Rath has also held the positions of: Helicopter Crew Chief in the U.S. Army’s Aviation Brigade, and Anesthesiologist, Field Surgeon, and Flight Surgeon in the Texas Army National Guard. Dr. Rath was then hired as an Anesthesiologist for the Lincoln County Medical Center, where his daily interactions with patients triggered the realization that many individuals (both men and women) had serious concerns about their physical appearance, but did not have access to trained medical practitioners who could safely and effectively address these issues.
