One of the founding partners of SOO and the first fellowship-trained orthopedist to come to the Rogue Valley, Dr. Chamberlain was naturally drawn to sports medicine, specifically knee and shoulder surgery, because of injuries sustained by himself and close friends.Dr. Chamberlain was a multi-sport athlete through high school, a football player and avid skier. He skied for the Pacific Northwest Ski Association on the international ski circuit. Dr. Chamberlain was the first surgeon in Southern Oregon to perform arthroscopic ligament repairs in the knee and shoulder and first in Oregon to do outpatient partial knee replacements.
