Dr. Terry Wang is one of the founding members of Maine Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, PA. Dr. Wang received his BSc in biology from the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario. He then went to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry from 1991-1995 and received his DMD degree. He completed his oral & maxillofacial surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA in 2001. During his residency training, Dr. Wang also attended medical school at Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University and graduated with an MD degree in 1998. Dr. Wang is licensed to practice dentistry and medicine in the state of Maine.

Dr. Wang is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

I had 13 teeth out with Dr. Wang a couple of weeks ago and was highly impressed. I expected the surgery to take more than an hour and to come out looking like I had gone a few rounds with Mike Tyson. He was completely done within the hour and the only place I h ad a bruise was the back of my hand (where the general anesthetic was administered). They took care of my insurance issues and I was able to get Care Credit to fund the part not covered by insurance. I would recommend this group to EVERYONE!!
