I consider it a privilege to develop with patients a successful care plan concerning their medical problems. Clear communication with patients, families and referring health care providers helps to achieve this. I earned my medical degree from Rush Medical College, Rush University in Chicago, Ill. My internal medicine residency was completed at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic and Hospitals in Rochester, Minn. I also completed a fellowship in oncology and hematology through MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas in Houston. I am board certified in medical oncology. I have staff privileges at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Community Memorial Hospital and Columbia St. Mary s Hospital (Milwaukee and Ozaukee). I have held long-standing interests in gastrointestinal cancers due to prior clinical research efforts while at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
