Dr. Timothy Chang

Having settled in Honolulu, Hawaii, for 17 years, Dr. Chang attended the University of Hawaii, where he received a Master of Arts degree in Economics in 1986, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Health Economics in 1991. Dr. Chang earned his medical degree from the university’s John A. Burns School of Medicine in 1994. Upon graduation from medical school, he served as General Medical Officer in the U.S. Army at Fort Hood, Texas, for several years before completing his Orthopaedic Residency in 2003 at the Brooke Army Medical Center, in San Antonio, Texas.

In 2003, Dr. Chang was assigned to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where he practiced general Orthopaedic surgery as a staff surgeon through 2014. During his tenure at Fort Campbell, he performed more than 3,000 surgical procedures, and served as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery from 2003 to 2008.
