Dr. Vinay Chopra is a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine physician and board certified Family Medicine physician who specializes in non-surgical orthopedics, concussion management, DOT and sports physicals, sports performance and rehabilitation.

He treats a range of conditions including fractures, sprains, concussions, arthritis and other disorders of the joints as well as sports related injuries, performance, nutrition, and rehabilitation and exercise. He also has experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound and various therapy methods such as platelet rich plasma (PRP) and prolotherapy. Dr. Chopra also performs Department of Transportation (DOT) and sports physicals. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and fellowship trained in the specialty of Sports Medicine.

He has experience with professional athletes and during his fellowship worked as a team physician for the New York Jets Football Team. He also has college-level experience working with The University of Maryland – College Park football and basketball, and Rutgers University wrestling.
