Dr. W. Anthony Frisella joined Advanced Bone & Joint in 2007. He is a fellowship-trained shoulder surgeon and is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Frisella is active in teaching and research for problems of the shoulder. In 2011 he served as an instructor in shoulder arthroscopy at the Orthopedic Learning Center in Chicago, Illinois. In 2010 he published a textbook chapter on sports shoulder injuries. He has published papers and given national talks on rotator cuff repair and shoulder replacements.
