Dr. Ricker completed a one year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Texas A&M University.  He returned to Oklahoma State University for a 3 year surgery residency where he received extensive training in orthopedic, soft tissue, cardiothoracic, oncologic and neurosurgery.  His research on the biomechanical security of finger-trapped catheters was published in the the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association in 2015.  Dr. Ricker’s wife, Rachel, is a pastor with Lifechurch.tv and they have one dog, a pit bull named “Piper”.
