Dr Abel received his BS from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT and his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Albany Medical Center in 2009. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and subspecialty board certified in Sports Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He joined the group in 2012 after completing his fellowship with Dr. Bodor. In July 2016, Dr. Abel joined Kaiser South Sacramento to help develop their musculoskeletal rehabilitation program.
