A native of Arkansas, Dr. Scott Smith attended the University of Arkansas for his undergraduate education as well as his medical degree, which he earned in 1998. After completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery in 2003 at the University of Tennessee Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Dr. Smith moved to Arkansas to join Conway Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic.

Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Smith is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and serves as president of the Arkansas Orthopaedic Society. He is also a member of the Arkansas Medical Society and the Faulkner County Medical Society.
