A native Phoenician, she attended the University of Arizona for undergraduate studies. VCA Phoenix West Animal Hospital has been her “home” for more than 25 years. Her husband, Dr. Scott Houser, is a large animal veterinarian who works with horses,goats and zoo animals.

They have two children that are both involved with baseball/softball. She volunteers as a Guide Dog puppy raiser. She enjoys jogging and riding horses.
