Dr. Jon Hinman is a physician who began working at Algone the Summer of 2016. He has been practicing medicine for 16 years, including eight years as an anesthesiologist. After receiving his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech, Dr. Hinman enrolled in the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and received his medical degree.

Dr. Hinman is certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has served as an instructor for the American Heart Association and was chosen to provide anesthesia during the Army’s first heart transplant. He was the recipient of the Commanders Award Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and the National Defense Service Ribbon Award.

Dr Hinman, he is the best pain doctor!!!!

I had Dr. Hinman as my doctor for 5-6 years at algone. I really miss him. He is very easy to talk to and totally understands where your coming from when your in pain. He did everything he could for me. It's hard now to get a doctor at algone. Most of them are PAs. I have to make 3 or 4 different apts for what Dr Hinman did for me. Dr Grissoms has a lot on his plate now that Hinman isn't there.... miss you lots!!!!!
